Cookshack prices from distributors

Sorry for all the questions guys (and gals). I'm just trying to get as much info as possible before diving into CS ownership.

I saw on the CS Web site that CS has distributors. Do these distributors sell CS smokers for the exact same price as found online, or less? The only locally-listed distributor only has SmokinTex smokers.

Along the same lines, does the factory sell seconds, factory refurbished units, etc?

The reason I ask is because I've seen several places online offering "new" Cookshack smokers for prices up to about $75 less, including shipping. But I want to make sure that I'm buying the same product and services. Otherwise I'd rather spend the extra $75.

Hi, Dennis,

We do not sell our residential smokers through distributors, although we do have dealers in some areas. Dealers are typically pool and patio stores or in some cases fireplace stores. Look under Customer Service on our website to find a dealer in your area.

All "seconds", returns and so on are reserved for charity auctions. We don't sell them.

Sometimes you can find cheaper prices online.

Check out Cabella's.. price I paid included shipping. I bought the 008 with the stand/cabinet.

There are usually a few units for sale on eBay also. There are a couple of them there now along with a few (ducking for cover) SmokinTex units.
