It's a smoker, so it smokes Big Grin

Unlike the other smokers, the 160 only uses a few ounces of wood, however it's enough to fill the trailer with smoke, so you'll want to vent it out.

As long as you can create positive airflow, it will carry the smoke outside as most of the smoke will come out the one vent hole on the top.

Smokin'
freebird,
our sm150 along with our fec is mounted in an 8 x 18 ft trailer.
like smokin says they smoke but it really doesn't take much to vent the exhaust part. truthfully a small attic fan hooked to flex hose would do the trick.
but where your major smoke problem occurs is when you open the doors for product removal. at that point even our hood is momentarily taxed.
i suppose i could put the product in the steam table but have found by having both smokers idling in the 150-165f range we get more sales (the usage of gas for the generators is reduced and at 3 bucks per gallon it is now a factor that really has to be watched)
hope this helps some
but what ever you do make sure to get with the authorities to see what they require.
jack
