You have to call CS if you want a deal, they do get returns, but not very many.

Key is capacity, try to determine how much you'll need to cook and let that help the decision process.

I called CS today. I've pretty much decided on the 009. They have a couple of 009's, one that is a warranty return and one scratch and dent that hasn't left the factory. Should I wait until late Nov for the 10% off a new 009, or jump on these deals. I don't mind a scratch and dent as long as it doesn't look like it's been hit by a train, or a warranty return in from someone who just wanted a 50/55.

What are the prices for those 2 009's ?

$425 for the warranty return, $475 for the scratch and dent $565-10% in late November

I'm guessing that the warranty return has been gone through well,and rewarrantied ,as new.

I'd go now and be enjoying it.

I bought a SM055 and love it I was concerned about a 009 not being big enough.
Good luck on your decision you will love what ever cook shack you decide to buy.

I would go for the warranty return one and save $145. If they only returned it during the 30 day money back period cause they thought it would be bigger, it should be just like new.

do you know anything more about the 10% late november sale? Is it on all models or only the 009's?
