My FE is an 07 model and the one I just bought is an 05 model. The door seal on the 05 is in a lot better shape than on the 07. Either I have really used my 07 a lot or I abused it in some way. I got the 05 from a BBQ Comp Team, "Pig Smokers in Paradise", real good folks!! That seal looks almost new, and he said it has not been replaced. He said he cooked 240 to 400 depending on what meat he's doing. Again, I use mine a lot with my catering business, as well as comps. So how many cooking hours should a door seal last?
