Will take the FE100 to Beaverton this weekend for the WBBQA qualifier at the Thriftway on Farmington. This is I believe the first ever KCBS sanctioned event in Oregon. Instead of a Friday/Saturday event they are doing a Saturday/Sunday time frame. Judging class on Saturday morning with provided salmon, turkey breast and iron chef vegi competition on Saturday. Normal basic four food group turnin on Sunday. Will post some pictures and results next week. Will try to make everyone proud!!!!

Rented a 6 x 12 u-haul covered trailer for the weekend cook. I really like the modifications to the FE if you are going to haul this thing around. We were able to lift the upper part of the FE off the base and slide it upright to the side of the trailer right over the wheels. Used a couple of straps to secure it for the trip. Without the modifications we would have had to lay it down or somehow secure it in the back of the pickup bed (showers tonight). Will take some pictures this weekend on site and in the trailer.
