FEC on regular current?

Hi BBQ Buddies
,
I'm about to lease a commercial kitchen and will need to do some outside wiring to power up my soon to be purchsed FEC-500. That thing runs on house current right? I saw on the site that it takes 14 amps @ 120VAC. I'm assuming that I just need a regular outlet - not some monster 220 volt thinga-majig. An I correct?

Yes, remember it's just the ignitor and controls.

Yep its 120. And I'd have a 20amp dedicated circuit run to it.

It just doesn't seem to like ground fault breakers. If i have had problems with power, it has been on ground faults. The start load is close to the limit and they seem to kick.

Actually Randy that sounds like the ignitor may be an issue. GFI won't typically fault on "load" but on "ground" issues. The culprit in most FE GFI trips have been the ignitors.

If it's a big problem, check with CS and they can help you out.
