Looking to purchase a used fec smoker, also looking to buy auger and firepot assembly for one can anybody help

You might call CS. They sometimes get old ones and will refurbish them and give them a warranty.

Really don't see too many used ones for sale. There might be some in the near future when the new electronic FE 100 starts rolling off the presses. No "official" word on that yet.

I got a letter that gave the impression of August shipping time. AS the old FEC-100's can be upgraded I doubt there will be many used one for sale. I have two waiting for the upgrade right now. I bet they regret the will ship in March annoucement.

i don't know how this will fit into your time frame but my pre-ul fec100 might be available after january 1st. still number crunching as it will require a new plan approval from the state to change out the fec for another sm150 at a cost of $150.00 for plan approval. still doing run up on biscuits in the 150 but results so far look promising.
unit is in north florida and you would have to move it and pick up.
will advise in a few weeks how we are going to go but right now a savings of 200 pounds of towing weight looks real promising if the biscuit thing can come thru.
