I just received this from Anne Rehnstrom of the Great Pork BarbeQlossal:

Greetings! The 21st annual Great Pork BarbeQlossal is 5 weeks from Saturday and I only have about 20 apps, so.......

I would love to be hearing from you soon! And if I have, I'm sorry – I tried to pull email addresses off.

I have over 100 judges signed up and the pig police are coming in, so....we just need you to complete the day!

I will be out of the office for our chef competition Thursday – Tuesday, so it would be great if I was inundated with apps when I get back!

Also, all teams that are signed up are featured on the website, so.....

And get signed up!

Make sure you circle the 20 or 30 amp needed! And also if you want to be next to another team, make that known also!

I've gotten several emails similar to this, appears everyone is hurting for teams at the larger contests, but Gas prices are going to make a lot of contest much smaller this year.

I'll be out at Qlossal again this year. Awesome contest. Although, we will not be all FE this year. As we won't be cooking our hog on a FE-500.
