just received my new smokette, but now i'm totally baffled as to where to put it. i don't have a garage. could i leave it outside if it is elevated and covered?

yes, lots of folks do keep them outside, and cook outside, even in the cold. covering would be a very good idea. good luck

Cookshack makes an excellent cover for the Smokette or you can seek a quality alternative.
I have kept a CS on a short cart, with a good cover,by the beach for three years.
Every night is a virtual salt bath,but it is in fine shape.

I got the cookshack cover and keep it outside on my deck all year round. This year I had to shovel snow off of it and around it to smoke a few times but no ill effects at all. Nothing like a high quality American made product!

I just got mine as well and found it too low to the ground. I hunted around and Sam's had a 2x4 table made out of some plasic that was only $34.00. Now I don't have to bend over and it's easy to clean up spills to boot!
