Someone tell me how to get crispy chicken in this thing. I am only getting chicken that the skin is rubbery. It all comes off with the first bite.

do a search in "Category/FE CS Pellet smokers" and "chicken" and you'll get only 180. You can also search just the FE Open and find 47

get oak pellets. would recommend ash but have never seen them. oak is #2 in btu's and ash of course is #1. now crank the temp knob to 425 and let it rip.
thinking people place the chicken on a grid over a pan. those that don't think just chuck the chicken in. the latter group complains of fires. the really dumb group does this with no pan in an enclosed trailer. sure to provide excitement for the family there.
