I'm a 2 FE 100 owner now !!!!

I've loved having my FE at contest over the past few years. My timing has evolved to doing it all in 1 cooker, but it have wanted to get another one to do my small meats in. I found one of the pre IQ4 models in great shape. Looking forward to a winter of learning a new schedule on turn in day. Anybody else with one of these models have any advice? It would be appreciated

I don't have one, but my understanding is the old FE's were rib cooking machines.

Congrats, we too, would like to expand from one FEC to two.

Yep,the IQ4 is great,but those of us that kept our early ones won't give them up,either.Like cal says.The recovery temp time is also exceptional and it gives high temps,as well.

It's a left hand model also so it will fit real nice on my new trailer. After a winter of R&D on temps ant timing I'll get used to being layed back like you Randy on Saturday mornings
