Installing venting pipes off of hood?....

Is there any documentation on exactly what cookshack's procedure/specs for installing the vent pipes after the exhaust hoods? What types of pipeing material and their recomendation on intalling them?

I used to have a CS150 in my concession trailer and it used schedule 40 pvc right from the top pf the exhaust motor. I checked it after long use and it was fairly clean but absolutely no damage or melting from the heat. It had two 45* bends in it and a total of about 5 feet long. It workrd perfect.
