Just received my KCBS Bullsheet and inside the package was a firecraft catalog. I found an island grillstone that looks really interesting and I am seriously considering ordering one. Does anyone have one of these? I have a stone for my oven, but it can not take over 450*. The volcanic stone can take whatever the grill throws at it. It's on page 3 of the catalog if anyone is interested. I am thinking of using it for pizza and more.

Wow. You might have to extend that deck to squeeze that pizza oven on it Smokin. Big Grin

I got a pizza stone a couple years back from Red Sky Grilling Products. Their Pizza Stone is designed to perform without cracking at temperatures approaching 2300*. I've been very pleased with the results. I haven't cracked it yet, but my grill only gets up to 800* or so.

I've also considered a pizza oven for the back yard. It's on my wish list.
Can't answer the question about who makes Forno Bravo, just go with good quality.

For me, I put it on my grill but because of the FEPG setup, it's not direct heat, but indirect heat and yes on HIGH. In fact, I let it go on HIGH for quite some time. I check the temp with an IR Thermometer to make sure it's hot. Typically 450+ before Pizza ever touches it.
