Actually, it's just beginning.

My concession trailer saga that is. After a four-month delay in delivery; a leaky roof (plus some other manufacturing issues)when it arrived; a Montana winter with no business; and the nail-biting wait for Health Department approval, my concession trailer is done, licensed, up and running....just in time for Spring.

The inspection came off without a hitch. And seeing as how I had six months to get all my ducks smoked and in a nice neat row, that's good

I'm starting to fill up my calendar now....the worry ends and the work begins.

Booking some jobs now. I sure am relieved.

Congrats, I know its a trial just to get to this point. Appreciate the any stories you have, these are popular topics, about getting started in concessioning.

Do you have any photos of the new trailer, be happy to post them. My email is in my profile if you want to send them.

Smokin'
Got my trailer from the same outfit as Peggy and Jack...Trailer Tech in Florida. My experience with them was different from Jack & Peggy's but I am glad to have it....finally! You can see purty pitchers at the www.trailer-tech.com website.

My trailer is 8x24 feet and has a freezer, two reefers, four top with oven, griddle, charbroiler, steam table and fryer. Two service windows, triple sink with hot water. I have a 7500kW generator to run all this so I am fully self contained.

Did I mention that it's red?

I already have every weekend in July booked including the Senior Pro Rodeo at the fairgrounds (only two or three other vendors and no barbecue) and Logger Days in Darby. This Summer is looking busy for us...and good thing too.

I will try to get some photos of her up pretty soon.
