Been a little over a year since I got the 055. Read the forum often, along with other smoking forums. Appreciate the knowledge and humor from all the experienced folks.

Smoked ribs, brisket, pork butt, meatloaf, tritip, hotdogs, hamburgers, beans, apples, sweet potatoes, ABTs, fatties, wings, quarters, beef chuck, pastrami, and beef ribs.

Not a big fan of meatloaf/burgers/fatties. Only did pastrami once and did not like the way it came out -- need to try again. Wouldnt smoke an apple again.

Learning about smoking has helped my grilling techniques. As well as cooking and seasoning of other foods. Been a lifelong sauce person, but cutting back and letting the rubs add flavor instead. So nice to be able to customize the sauce and rubs to suit the flavors I like.

Learned that a lot of meats can be better the next day or two out of the fridge -- freezing and reheating can be pretty good too. Was never a big fan of leftovers. But smoking has has changed my thinking and improved my lunches.

The customer services at CS is awesome. Did have an issue this winter. Called and talked a couple of times to debug. Part was shipped and I easily installed(been wanting to open it up and look inside).

Looking forward to a year of making the BBQ even better -- yes, I have been taking good notes. Maybe work on some vegetables and other side dishes. And start saving for an FE...
