Folks,

I need ya'lls help. Someone stole my BBQ trailer this weekend from Colorado Springs. Thing is, my FEC100 is mounted inside with battery backup, Honda generator, and tripp lite inverter. Police seem to think that they might try to get rid of the smoker and stuff. So, if someone offers you a good deal on a FEC100.....

2001 Cargo Express white 6'x12' tandem axel trailer with gold star painted on the passenger side.

FEC100 serial number GG1647.
Thanx

Not sure how they got it. I had Blaylock locks on doors and bulldog. I also had trailer locks on back wheels. You can see the skid marks from the locked tires and where the locks popped. I think they used a sledge hammer & chisel to break the steel pin on the hitch as it was busted into pieces. They knew what they were doing; just probably figured they were getting tools and not BBQ stuff.

I would go to all the local scrap yards(and pawn shops and dump) and give them pics of the stuff inside and tell them you will give them double the scrap value if they call you(or police) when it comes in you nailed it when you said they thought they were getting tools(easy to pawn) they will see the BBQ as a big problem to get rid of and probably sell it for scrap that is if they don't just dump it.I would keep close with the cops they will probably find it on the side of the road or in a field in a week or three. You can kiss the gen goodbye but if you do the leg work you could get Lucky on the rest.I believe that stealing a mans pit is the same as stealing his horse and should be prosecuted the same using TEXAS law of course. good luck and sorry.
