Well, I have been looking at the cookshack,bradley and any other smoker since my old "brinkman" seen its better day and finally rusted through and I had to dump it in the trash. I am somewhat a novice in comparison to some of the verteran smokers here. I am really glad to see the ideas and smokes in the forums here. My wife for my 40th birthday had finally allowed me to spend the money for 055. She will be ordering it friday as she was told that they are on back order until this friday. I cannot wait to get it, I also look forward to posting the results here. I see on another post that a newer model is coming out anyone know anything about this ????

Cookshack is the ONLY way to go. Model is up to how you cook, alot of people just you and the missis. I have a 55 up from 09. Hopefully I'll beable to get the new model, larger rack's, electronic control and internal probe thermometer w/holding feature. For more info go to search and type in "New Model". Plus it's supposed to be around $1500

I was looking at the new model coming out, it looks really nice and has some very nice features.The end result I cannot imagine will be much different. I wanted to go with the bigger unit fearing the smokette version would not be enough for me. So that was my reason for the 055 I should have it Wednesday 27th yeeeehhaaaaa.
