I have the PG1000. Planning on doing 2 12 lb birds on it for Turkey Day. Does volume of meat change the cook time?

Nah... May change the temp regulation a bit... but cook time shouldn't change much.

Good Question.
Haven't done it that way, have some thoughts.
How will you fit two 12 lb birds in there? You might squeeze them in, but they'll be touching I'd bet.
And don't forget the side facing the flame will tend to get more direct heat so rotate the birds.

I'll be seeing what I can do to fit them on there. I may end up smoking one, and doing the other in the oven. Did I just s ay that?
Anyways, here's another question. Will I get drippings to make gravy when smoking a bird?
