Hi All! First contest with new fec100. Impressive field for sure, Jacks Old South, Ulser Acres, Tommy Houston (Checkered Pig) Was intimidating lineup. I figured if we finished half way in this pack we done good. Was totally suprised to hear our name called for first place chicken and 9th in ribs! 11th overall
I think we would have been 5th overall if my NEW maverick was reading right. The wrong temp showing had me pull the butts off early then 2 hours later trying to get them done for turn in by putting them back on Frowner Lowest butt score I ever had in a contest. But was a good time. Im still learning how to use this thing 5 cooks under my belt so far. Thanks to all you guys here for all the tips!
