I am looking at a few locations for a barbeque rest. I need some ideas on what you all consider to be the needed kitchen equipment to start with(other than an FEC cooker!!!) I am just trying to put together a business plan and an initial cost prospectus. Also where does everyone get their kitchen equipment(used preferred)

Thanks for any help you all can offer
Sam

1. refrigerator
2. freezer
3. large 3 compartment sink
4. plenty of storage shelves
5. full size hotel pans
6. 1/2 size hotel pans
7. food warmer or SM150, which you can also use for smoking

These are just suggestions based on what we use in our trailer. We have a food warmer we rarely use because of the SM150. We can hold food in it just as well. We also have a chiller, but use the refrigerator more. We use a cooler with ice for the drinks.

Lots of aluminum foil (heavy duty) and plastic wrap. Take out boxes. A cash register.

Hope this gets you started. Best of luck.

2 greyhounds...Peggy, (auctions) The yellow pages will list auction companys and I look every Sunday's newspaper in the classifieds. They usually have a closed restaurant stuff to sell on the site. Once you get on their amiling list they will e-mail you. Best one I went to is the county was selling cafeteria equipment from all the schools
