Need some feed back

Well, I am doing a local comp in afew months. And wings are required on firday evening. The group is furnishing the wings to raise money, and we will get 25% of the sells.

But it is also a peoples choice. So what kind of wings. Hot Buffalo, mild, Hot BBQ, Sweet BBQ, Asian?? With men and women and kids, which direction do you think would work best.

Not a very big comp, first year event. So I don't think more than a few hundred people there??

Speaking from the point of a mom, my husband would enjoy the buffalo wings, my kids would enjoy a sweet BBQ, my teenage son occasionally enjoys the buffalo as well. I would go for mostly Buffalo or Asian.

I would say do a mix to please everyone, if possible. Hope that helps.

As you know as a comp cook,people may claim not to like sweet-but they do.

Also,you know that more than just a touch of back heat can turn off a diner,especially kids.

What do the locals LIKE?

Call the local Buffalo Wild Wings and ask them what their #1 sauce is.

Check the grocery stores. What's the best selling bbq sauce.

If the "judges" are just people off the street, there is no way to guess. Just cook them perfectly with a great rub and not coated in sauce and see how it goes.
