Just acquired an FEC-100 (non-IQ controller) made 3-26-2006. Inaugural cook was a pair of Iowa Chops, my wife's favorite.

I've been cooking on pellets for over a year now. Will use this FEC-100 and my Traeger 075 as my comp and catering rigs when I cook alone. When I cook with my Brother in Law, Randy, we'll cook on either the FEC, his Traeger 200, or both. Great to have options.

We are Pork Pullin Plowboys from Blue Springs, MO and Concordia, MO. Formed our team in 2001. Still chasing our first KCBS GC.

Rod,

I had no idea until Tuesday that this was even a possibility. Just landed in my lap. Sweet manna from heaven. You'll flip when you see this baby. Its like brand new. Got it through Bobby at BBQ Bonanza. Used my half of the proceeds from selling our Kingfisher Commercial last Friday. That money didn't last long.

She's running beautiful at her first ever comp. Sat at 130 steady on smoke mode for three hours, then kicked up to 180 for the night. Got two big packer briskets on right now. This is a non-KCBS comp, so no pork butts.

Haven't decided if I'll bring her to the BBQlossal in Des Moines next week or not.

My Traeger 075 is way jealous. Wink Cooking next to "Mean Dean" Bury right now. Dean about fainted when I wheel her out of my trailer.

I'm a very happy... make that giddy... man right now.

Now Todd, you know those are my prescription glasses, right? I'm not trying to be cool. I just forget to bring my other glasses sometimes and if I didn't keep them on, I'd be blind. That would suk!
