Like the title says, this is not a Cookshack grill. My Wife went to an auction last Fall, and came home with her $300.00 grill. I resisted doing anything with it because of the size of the thing. I finally took it out of the garage, and did some cleaning on it. This is a "Grand Cafe" grill. I have never heard of them, or the company that makes them, "Grand Hall". This thing has 8 burners, a 56" by 20" cooking surface, and folds up. What do you think?

I've seen one in action, and it is great for grilling, especially for large events. All stainless steel for $300. Have you thanked Mrs. Idaho?

For small events, just use 1 or 2 burners. Want to impress yours friends at your next Q? Smoke a brisket or ribs, bring out that big boy, and grill some chicken wings or beef, chicken miniskewers.
That is a great score... Pags is right (as always) you will also find you have a lot of new "friends" calling on the weekend to see what you're doing !! LOL

Pags,

What you need me to "esplain" to her. LOL
My wife's first name is Lucie so occasionally I pull that old Desi line on her.

If I get a bigger smoker like I WANT I might start charging my neighbors to smoke their briskets for them. LOL, like I'm gonna CHARGE them. "Yeah Honey I can make money with this thing doing what I love...". I just think of some of true arguments my wife presents me with when she wants some $300.00 boots or another half a dozen tops or pairs of slacks...

Anyway we're all a bunch of enablers here.
I bought a Cookshack 009 about 9 years ago. I had people asking me to smoke things for them. My Wife has me do about 50 pounds of cheese at Christmas time. She makes up a basket with the cheese, some crackers, and summer sausage. The go to her customers for presents. I finally decided that I needed a bigger smoker, so we got an 045. Now this thing shows up. I think she is trying to tell me something. I just wish it had a lid on it so I could do some indirect heat grilling with it. I did see one of these for sale on one of the auction sites. They were asking $250.00 for it.
