I did my first solo cookout in Nelsonville over the last weekend, and I am fairly pleased. Shigs in Pit won the contest cooking on FEC's, and I ended up 5th overall, with a first place ribs, third place pork, and 6th place brisket....we will not talk about chicken. But, I can say that I am nothing short of pleased with how my FEC is performing in contests....and I just love talking to people who come to the contests about it. Hopefully the team name of Them Ohio City Boys will be one that Fast Eddy, and Cookshack can/will be proud to have associated with them down the line.
