boy, "can't miss" puts a lot of pressure on. Are you talking Q.

the only Can't Miss is Smokin' Okie's House, but it's not open today for Q Big Grin

Rudy's in Norman is the same as Texas, it's a miss.

There is a JR's (from WWF fame) in Norman, I can't say yes or no, but what does he know about Q. But the restaurant guy he's in with knows how to make a good restaurant.

There are two "van's pig stands" and the one in Norman I'd recommend, it's off of Robinson and I-35 to the east about 2 or 3 miles: 320 North Porter Norman, OK. 73071
Thumbs up on Van's Pig Stand! I really liked the ribs, St. Louis cut spares trimmed really well with a nice crust.

They had a big 'ole Southern Pride Smoker cranked up to 280 degrees full of meaty goodness. I didn't try the Brisket, but they had a lug full cooling off waiting to be sliced and they looked good.

I also like a restaurant that serves their meat with sauce on the side, that's confidence in your product. That said, the Spicy BBQ Sauce was really good.

Now where to go for dinner.....
