A friend of mine is thinking about buying a CS smoker and was wondering if he could pick it up directly from the factory since he's planning on drive through that area soon. Would he save on shipping?

He'll certainly save on shipping if he picks it up at CS. Best bet is to have him discuss the purchase with sales just so they know his intentions, and can advise of a pick up date.
