I am looking for a Team that wants some help, on their team, so as to learn more about comp Qing in the big leagues. I would offer up a couple rooms in our house, 25 miles from lakeland and our southern hospitality and food for their stay in town.we live 1-4 and hwy 27s area. We are gracious host's and have lots of extra room in the house and a heated pool for relaxing. Just a thought and a cordial invite to any on the forum. We are 45 years old and are raising our 4yr old grandson, so yes we have a small child, but we allow smoking and drinking in moderation and have 3 extra bedrooms, two with Queen beds and one with 2 single beds plus a couple fold out sofa beds in our home. 5 miles from Disney and 25 from the Festival. Just a offer and would appreciate the experience on a Team as I am starting to try my hand at it. I have a couple Traegers and will have a FEC100 next week. Let me know if anyone is interested and we will be more than happy to be hosts.Come early, stay late, no problem.Might cost you a bottle of Makers Mark, but thats it, lol. I will be taking the KCBS judge class at the event but would love to gain some more experience and tips Before starting to compete next year in the FBA events.

Scottie,
It is a open offer and i have some equipment here also. Couple traegers, will have a new FEC100 next week, have Mavericks and Thermoworks, and hopefully a MFD trailer, trying to buy the one PrisonChef set up, talked to him today and will go look at it tommorrow. That would give me a full set-up as it has a cS160 and a FEC100 built in it. I am taking the KCBS judge class at Pigfestand if i aquire the trailer may cook in the Publix backyard cook-off. They also let you sell food all three days there, so should be a hoot. I grew up south of Chi town, 75 straight south on Hwy 41. Still have a lot of relatives in the burbs, schaumburg, tinley park, lombard. I really miss going to Buddy Guys club down in the hood though, in the 80's we were the only white couple there on the weekend but always felt safe and sound. Man can he play guitar. Going to see him in Orlando in Feb.
Like i said let me know if anybody needs a house to crash in. I will update if i get the trailer bought. weather is nice also, 75 today and pork butt smoking away on the back porch. sending it next day air tonight to some friends up your way.
The full backyard there may be the biggest in KCBS.

No requirements about winning and moving on up to the pros.

Top teams will be there in the backyard.

If you are going, might as well jump into the pros.

I know prisonchef's rig,and you would be set to go.

It is one of the great vending events for the pro teams,as well.

Might draw 50,000 people and they stand in line to eat.
