Prayers for one of our own -- Ocala Bill

Saw this posted this morning in another forum. Bill is a fellow pellet head who brings a LOT to this forum. He's a great friend and competitor.

Our prayers are with you Bill and Nina!

I have seen many times on the forum , the power of love and prayer help people to get well. Ocala Bill, Bill Schmidt, Husband to Nina, and bisquit and sausage maker on the team Bill and the Dixie Chicks is going in for surgery Thursday morning. He has prostrate cancer and will be off the barbecue trail for a number of weeks. Anyone who has ever been lucky enough to camp beside Bill and Nina at a contest, know how great they both are. They bring laughter, fun, and food Wink to these contest. They also bring kicka## and have doing great as a competition team. I hope eveyone will put Bill and Nina in their thoughts and prayers.
Bill, I wish you have a speedy recovery and get back to bbq soon!

Thank you all for your support. Now the rest of the story. Got a call from my Dr. thursday at noon. He informed me the procidure was cancelled, reason, it was because some of the pre op tests showed I had a recent heart attack. This was news to me. The net result is I'm waiting to see my internist tue.
Another bump in the road. Darn.
