probe position for brisket

Hi Everyone,

I just started a 13.5 pounder in my AmeriQue. I am not sure I have positioned the probe correctly. Any help out there?

I usually probe in the flat with the probe running horizontal from the edge and try to get the tip near the center of the flat.

i asked a similar question and had some very descriptive responses earlier this week. look under "brisket" on the main forum page and my heading was "probing brisket". i'd paste the link to it but i don't know how. maybe somebody else can and tell me how to.
