Just bought model 025 and trying to pre-season smoker. I have adjusted the temp. to 275 but then the monitor reads "Prb". Smoker does not seem to be heating up. Am I doing something wrong?

I need help finding the "SM066 probe problem" message thread. I used the find function and nothing comes up, it was just there this morning but now it seems to have gone down a rabbit hole or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated as there was a lot of good info about the problem there.
Unfortunately that thread was removed for violation of CS policy. Indeed, good information was lost. Along with that policy, there won't be any forum discussions about why.
I have asked CS to assist with the PRB problem, so hopefully they can come into this thread and provide some direct assistance.
The focus should be on the PRB problem, that it seems to be a problem with a number of boards and it would be appropriate to have a good technical policy/response to help when posted.
I've already asked CS to help with exactly that issue.
