I have a frozen fully cooked brisket vac-u-sealed and was wondering the best way to he-heat... Huge pan of water and slowly heated, or thaw, take out of bag and oven or ??? Thoughts? Thanks for the replys...
Thaw in the bag under normal refrigeration. Place in a roasting pan with combination of water and beef broth/bouillon. An inch of liquid will do...maybe a bit less. Foil the top and bake at 275 till internal reads 140-145.
i've reheated in ziploc bags by just placing in water that has boiled and letting sit for 30 min or so, take out and massage then put back in for a few more.no loss of moisture and comes out steaming good
