An oldie but goodie. Happy smoking!
Looks great!
I've had 2 of them, both bought used. One had been used for smoking salmon for a number of years, I was able to scarf the rusted out areas on the lower sides and save it. The other one was almost like new. Replaced that one with a newer cookshack and gave them both to friends.
Bought MS025 in 2009. Works very well for my family. Love their Q
Yep these things are tanks. I just keep it covered and I have had no issues in the 20+ years
I bout mine in 2003-04 mostly smoking salmon, just recently had to replace the burner element. Also purchased a Auber WS 1211 digital controller. Controls time and temp, holding temp at set while keeping accurate time until complete or change to next setting. Makes replicating recipes a snap!
I bought my Amerique in 2003-04 and it’s still kickin’ butts!
Bought my Amerique in 2013. Never a single problem. It lives in an unheated garage when not in use. I don't let grease build up on the bottom corner welds of the box. That can cause corrosion even with the stainless CS uses, which isn't particularly corrosion resistant.

Can I ask how much does SM008 cost? I'm going to get one.
