Sm045

i have a sm045 and I set my temp at 275 and it will only get to 200. Does anyone have any ideas why.

Is the smoker temp reading only getting to 200, or is that a reading from a thermometer independent of the smoker when you set it for 275?

Both the temp reading is 200 and I have a external thermometer And it reads just what the cook shack temp reads.

It sounds like this is not just a faulty temp probe since both thermometers read the same. If you are sure your power to the unit is steady, I'd suggest giving CS a call - their customer service is excellent and they can at least suggest some diagnostic steps to see what's wrong.
