SM045 Digital Temperature Control Problem

SM045 bought less than a year ago and have had no issues until today. Smoker keeps increasing in temp. Set temp to 230 but it wont regulate, it keeps increasing in temp. Any suggestions?

is the oven probe touching or inserted into the meat??

that will provide an artificially low estimate for the oven temp to the controller.
