I plan to buy SM066, can anybody anwer my concerns about this model?

1. plan to use it for cold smoking with temperature ranging from 45-55 celsus, just wondering what is lowest possible temperature for this model without heat baffle, or should I use heat baffle for this temperature range


2 can the machine stands the cold winter in Canada if I put it in backyark given this model is not for internal use, did anybody use this type indoor? is it ok if I put it in a shed in backyard?

Welcome to the CS forum. Now ya gotta understand, I wasn't raised on Celsius! After some studying, I see you are talking about 113-131*F. This would be really low temp in regards to getting some smoke started, unless you have a baffle. That would also lead me to wonder how long you are wanting to smoke at this low of temps?

As far as the cold weather, I've smoked brisket in the 0* to -10*F, you just have to make sure the drip hole doesn't freeze shut on the smoker. It doesn't seem to add much cooking time to the smoke either.
