frist time here, I was reading SMOKE & SPICE and it said cookshack produce less smoke flavor is that so, im now useing a NEW BRAUNFELS offset smoker

I always wondered what less smoke meant.
Is that like, Shaq is less tall than Yao?
Yes,the CS burns clean and efficiently.
It is less likely to oversmoke,lay on soot and creosote.
Yes ,a pure logburner is more likely to oversmoke.
Yes,you are sometimes required to cook in foil or paper bag on long cooks.
Some of the others will probably log on and warn you not to use too much wood,because you can oversmoke.

found more info in the pellet section,looks like it will get plenty of smoke,it will make my life much easyer throwing in wood all day and smelling like a smoked brisket
