Just got back from Smoke on the Rock in beautiful Rockingham, NC! I don't think I've ever seen so many FE100s in once place at one time. FE's of various ages and configurations, from "classic" Eddy to the "ramped" model.

Congrats to Lazy Bones for the Gov's Cup and all the other calls. (This was a first time solo for Scott as chief cook!)

Congrats to Late Nite Whiskey Smokers! BS Pitmeisters. I think that's all the pelletheads in the top 10. NO!!! Steve, Regal BBQ, came all the way from Buffalo, NY to take 1st in Brisket, even with Texans present!

Good contest! Even if I did stinky...

Congratulations to all of the folks who walked. Candy Sue and I were saving our strength for the next one. It was cold there, how cold was it? Nina and I woke up to find we had no water. Needless to say we were mumbling bad things about the organizer, who did a great job, it was later that we realized the hose had frozen. A real shock for us folks from Florida. Does this happen often up north?
