I have a small Restaurant and want to put a small smoker in it. I have about 24" empty under the hood and was wondering if I can put the smokett inddors? I see it is UL rated. Can someone help me out? Thanks
I couldn't think of any reason not to as long as you have the smoke seepage covered.. and it seems you do with the hood. There aren't any safety issues that aren't prevelant to users on wooden decks or those who use them in garages.
Depends on your location. I know Dallas requires 6" of hood past any cooking surface. Check with the fire marshall. As for the smoke. I could put mine at my back window indoors with a fan blowing out and be fine. (Don't try this at home kids) J.M.O.
gatorgrillin , your only concern should be how powerfull your hood is , you do not want your hood to draw the smoke thru your smoker to fast . i have a borrowed one ( still waiting for mine to be delivered ) but mine is on my stove and it works just fine . but my household hood is nowhere near as strong as your hood at work .
