Smokette - How much wood for a couple butts?

Tommorow I'll be smoking a couple 7~8 lb. butts to break in my new Smokette. I've done a lot of smoking in the past, on my WSM. Going to be using hickory, since I'm new to Cookshack just looking for input on how much wood to use. Would also like to get that nice smoke ring.

SkinsFan - I would use 4 oz of hickory for starters. I love hickory, oak and pecan and have yet to over-smoke a butt.

If you want to get a SR, toss in a couple of Kingsford charcoal briquetts. "Nice smoke ring" is a relative term. These smokers are not known for their SR but the briquetts will difinitely help.
