My brother-in-law (in Texas) had been giving me crap since day one of buying an 'electric' smoker. I'd say I smoke this or that and he'd say, "That aint smoking boy, don't even it compar it to such" - well after three years of this going back and forth he and my sister brought themselves out here to Florida. He took one look at my 008 and wouldn't stop laughin' and said, "It's worse than I thought". Then I cooked up some ribs, a pulled pork, and nice pot of smoked pinto beans. With that and a few beverages of choice he came clean - not only did he admit he was impressed but he also admitted he's thinking of one himself. My cooker was only sitting on one 20X20 Paver 'bout a foot off the ground. He owns his own masonary business and mentioned that he be glad to help fix a lil cooking center. In less than 2 hrs, we went to lowes, bought the pavers and put it together. I went down the next day and found the perfect size storage bins for my wood and cooking utensils.
