We just got back home from this contest last evening. The girls wanted to do some shopping in Palm Springs and I just wanted to lay by the pool with several icy cold adult beverages.
WOW!!! What a great cook-off. Pellet cookers definitely rule. Over half the teams at this contest were using FEC's and were winning. These are great cookers. Here is a photo showing the hardware.

Can anyone imagine a cook-off that pays you back your entry fee and a few bucks extra? That was fantastic. We had such a great time. This is definitely on our schedule for next year.
To all of you cookers that missed this, you really missed the premiere event of the season. The venue, the promoters, the weather, the good friends, old and new and Thom, it was fantastic. We are still reeling with excitement. This was the best cook-off that we have ever been to. Thanks again. We loved it!
