the vent on my 160 hood is having a hard time starting

Anyone got any suggestions on how to clean the electric vent motor on my 160 hood? it does not want to start tonight and I've just loaded 8 butts in for a catering tomorrow. It's had 2 years of solid use, so I'm sure it needs it
