So, Tom, how'd you do in Brisket this weekend at the Jack? I thought our forum members might like to know (you ARE still the Brisket cook on the team)?
You are right Russ. Tom and Barbara did a great job on cooking the briskets. And with those teams at the Jack, we are very proud of what they accomplished!

I called out Tom specifically because he talks brisket, but your team did great, finishing 10th overall at the Jack Daniels Invitational. Sorry the ribs didn't do better.
Thanks Russ. You know the Jack. You can deal with one low scoring judge but not two or more. Four of the judges had the ribs at 999 or 988 while two had them in the sixes. But then, every other team had to deal with the same thing. So you take what you can get and move on.
We were very happy to see the 10th place overall finish with the scores we got on ribs and chicken. I will email you my number.
