I am going to buy the upgrade kit to repair an old cs105 smoker. I am wondering if anyone has done this and how difficult it is? Are all the components changed? How long does it take?

It is pretty easy to do and will take around a hour more or less. Your new control will fit in the same place your old one was and comes pretty much already wired. There will be a couple of wires that need to be moved around but it also comes with a wiring diagram showing you where the wires hook up and you can give me a call and I will be happy to help out over the phone (800) 423-0698
