What vacuum sealers do you folks recommend? We are looking to test the market a bit this summer with a Farmers market booth, and are looking for something a bit more robust than a simple Tilia sealer...any recommendations are appreciated.

We will be smoking salmon, garlic, salt and chicken breasts.

Thanks much.

I was at the gun show in Spokane over the weekend. There were a few people sellling vacuum packed jerky. Some seemed better and better packaged than others. But I have found limited information other than Foodsaver models and what I have found at Cabelas.com and Alliedkenco.com.
I have had a Foodsaver model for a couple of years that I bought at Costco, and even if legal I don't think it would hold up under any form of commercial use.
One guy in Spokane had his packed in a bag a zipper closure on the bag which I thought was cool. But I would like to find someplace in the NW where I could get some real understanding on what is required to vacuum pack anything and a machine that was worth the money.
