Dave,

Look for Beef Chuck Roll too, also Beef Bottom Round Flat. I can't find chuck roll around here, but I do bottom flats all the time now. Here it goes for about $2.20 per pound, and they average about 10-14 pounds. Perfect for the smokette. I actually prefer it quite a bit to brisket, and the fact it's about $1 per pound cheaper dosen't hurt.
Mission accomplished. Found a wholesaler, here in my town, that has all the brisket all of us could eat. I bought one today - 11.5lbs. He called it a "whole brisket" and said it is the same as a "packer cut." He had larger ones but I thought this size would fit the smokette. Best part was the prics. $22.00
He also handles every other cut, including the chuck roll you mentioned Todd although he did not have one on hand. Says he usually uses them to grind with other cuts of ground beef.
