I have an early Amerique that has had a few issues. Cookshack has stood behind their product 100% in or out of warranty. This is unique among corporate America today.

The product turns out amazing Bar-B-Que and the folks at Cookshack are a delight. I had originally comsidered a lesser Cookshack but I'm glad that my wife talked me into spending the extra money on an Amerique. The sensor makes all the difference. Just set and forget until it is time to eat.

Gotta agree about the customer service!

Ordered a SM025 this weekend, but looks like it's backordered right now. What was awesome though, is that as soon as they processed the order, they emailed me about it. The email came from AN ACTUAL PERSON, not something spit out from a computer program.

Was told why it was backordered, when I could expect it to be shipped, & that I'll be given an heads-up on or b4 the day it ships! Thanks Karen for the notification!

As an aside, this forum is awesome too! Wealth of knowledge here & the info sold me on CS (and allowed me to sell the wife on it as well)!!!

I'll be eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Cookshack!
