Well... Dr. Nordy finished 36 of 66... not as good as we hoped for, but not DAL either!
Was nice to meet some new people from across the country including our own Coach!
Quick review - Would I cook this one again... probably... (OK yes I would... but gotta qualify first) You have to realize this isn't a "normal" KCBS contest. It's 7 contests in one, made for TV, and BBQ is just part of it. With a few small tweaks and a couple more sponsors this will be a great event. They've improved it greatly over last year and I believe they will continue to do so...
Time to start practice cooks for 2014 season...

Coach said it was a blast. Wish I had gone with him but had too many pokers in the fire.
We were there and it was fun but BBQ finished second for the second year in a row. At least last year it lost to burger. This year was a carrot cake!!! Carrot cake?!??!?!!!!

We (ZBQ) were there, finished 17th.
Best meat was pork (6th), worst was ribs (43rd). Pork was on an FEC, ribs weren't.
