If you can get your hands on a multi tester to check power at your element I can walk you through trouble shooting the unit. Basically if you have power at the element and it is not hot you need to replace the element. If yo do not have power check for any breaks in the wires. If they are all good you need a thermostat. The element will be a PV311 and the thermostat will be a PA300. Feel free to give me or Bill a call if you would like assistance.

I just did my 008 (2003) new heating element and thermostat it popped breaker after installation, I pulled the back panel off and the white wires from the element to the thermostat were slightly touching the metal shield over the heating element so I slipped a split 1/4 piece of flex type conduit over the length of both wires anywhere it might contact metal plugged it in tested it several times and it now works great.
