Smokin -- Do you know anything about "Stogie?" I see his name mentioned in the old forum. He's the one who introduced me to the CS forum aftter I had purchased my ST. Haven't seen him post in forever! Just curious.
Wheelz, Stogie is off the BBQ circuit for a while so he can spend more weekends with his family. He's gotten into outdoor activities such as camping, fishing and hunting cause that's what his son was wanting to do. I give him a lot of credit for having the good sense to make that decision. He says he'll return at a later date. Good on ya Stogie.
Thanks TaktEZ! Totally agree that family comes first. Ya only get one chance to raise them youngin's. Do it now or someone else will and you probably won't like the results!
Hey Wheelz, Do you know any members of the Boggan family there in Searcy? Bob was my brother in law. I say "was" 'cause he passed on a few years back. He was a career Air Force man, got a masters in horticulture after retiring from the service and went on to work for the State of Arkansas. Also was an entrepreneur having started up several small businesses. Lived his final days in Jacksonville, near the AF base, where his widow still resides. Great people those Arkies.
TaktEZ -- I don't recognize the name, sorry. Searcy is full of wonderful people, a small Christian college town (25,000) that hhas a lot going for it. Been to LRAFB several time. That too is a pretty tight-knit comunity!
